Designing Education, LLC was founded by Doris Ostrander in order to provide learner-centered solutions for instructional design, training, and curriculum development for higher education, K-12 schools, and non-profit organizations.

Our current clients include the Nevada Learning Academy at Clark County School District.

About Doris

Doris Ostrander is a designer, educator, and consultant with more than 25 years of experience in design, technology, and higher education. Her work focuses on using design to improve educational experiences.

Doris began her higher education administration career as the distributed learning coordinator at Parsons School of Design. She has also served at the founding director of online program services at Chatham University, the director of continuing education at Corcoran College of Art + Design, and the professional development & outreach coordinator at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) office of online education.

Doris currently teaches part-time for the department of art in the UNLV College of Fine Arts. She has taught design, education, and technology courses at Parsons School of Design, the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, and the School of Public Policy and Leadership at UNLV.
